We live in a very comfortable society. As parents we make sure our kids have everything they need. Clean homes, a happy environment, good nutritious food, comfortable and warm bed, that they are well groomed, nice clothing, books, computer, iPhone, all the toys they would like while growing up, and we have no idea what is going on in the other parts the world.
To see other children’s lives around the world, my heart bleeds. These children of ages 7, 8, or 9 years old and up are responsible to feed their family of 6 to 8 members. They are the breadwinners, and instead of them going to school to play with other children their age, they wake up early in the morning and work until dark. They go through garbage's to look for plastic bottles, or other recyclables to sell, just to buy bread for their families. Or they must do another other job that their tiny bodies don’t have the stamina for and is un bearing. When I think about humanity, I think something is missing. Who could
think it’s false that these sinless and innocent children are trapped in these dark holes. I can only blame the WAR. These are children of war, and their parents were children of 45 years of war.
I hope that reading these true stories about these innocent Afghans opens your heart, and helping my mission to make my dreams come true, will help these kinds of human beings.
